When I’m a little old lady

May 13, 2010 By: JeWeL Category: Old Age Jokes

When I’m a little old lady, then I’ll live with my children and bring them great joy.

To repay all I’ve had from each girl and boy I shall draw on the walls and scuff up the floor; run in and out without closing the door.

I’ll hide frogs in the pantry, socks under my bed. And whenever they scold me, I’ll hang my head.

I’ll run and I’ll romp, always fritter away ….. the time to be spent doing chores every day.

I’ll pester my children when they are on the phone. As long as they’re busy I won’t leave them alone.

Hide candy in closets, rocks in a drawer … and never pick up what I drop on the floor.

Dash off to the movies and not wash a dish. I’ll plead for allowance whenever I wish.

I’ll stuff up the plumbing and deluge the floor. As soon as they’ve mopped it, I’ll flood it some more.

When they correct me, I’ll lie down and cry, kicking and screaming, not a tear in my eye.

I’ll take all their pencils and flashlights, and then .. when they buy new ones, I’ll take them again.

I’ll spill glasses of milk to complete every meal …. Eat my banana and just drop the peel.

Put toys on the table, spill jam on the floor. I’ll break lots of dishes as though I were four.

What fun I shall have, what joy it will be to Live with my children….just the way that they lived with me!

A retiring farmer in preparation for selling his land

May 13, 2010 By: JeWeL Category: Old Age Jokes

A retiring farmer in preparation for selling his land, needed to rid his farm of animals. So he went to every house in his town.

To the houses where the man is the boss, he gave a horse. To the houses where the woman is the boss, a chicken was given.

He got toward the end of the street and saw a couple outside gardening. “Who’s the boss around here?” he asked.

“I am.” said the man.

“I have a black horse and a brown horse,” the farmer said, “which one would you like?”

The man thought for a minute and said, “The black one.”

“No, no, no, get the brown one.” the man’s wife said.

“Here’s your chicken.” said the farmer.

A wise old gentleman retired and purchased a modest home near a junior high school

May 13, 2010 By: JeWeL Category: Old Age Jokes

A wise old gentleman retired and purchased a modest home near a junior high school. He spent the first few weeks of his retirement in peace and contentment. Then a new school year began. The very next afternoon three young boys, full of youthful, after-school enthusiasm, came down his street, beating merrily on every trash can they encountered. The crashing percussion continued day after day, until finally the wise old man decided it was time to take some action.

The next afternoon, he walked out to meet the young percussionists as they banged their way down the street. Stopping them, he said, “You kids are a lot of fun. I like to see you express your exuberance like that. In fact, I used to do the same thing when I was your age. Will you do me a favor? I’ll give you each a dollar if you’ll promise to come around every day and do your thing.” The kids were elated and continued to do a bang-up job on the trash cans.

After a few days, the old-timer greeted the kids again, but this time he had a sad smile on his face.

“This recession’s really putting a big dent in my income,” he told them. “From now on, I’ll only be able to pay you 50 cents to beat on the cans.”

The noisemakers were obviously displeased, but they did accept his offer and continued their afternoon ruckus. A few days later, the wily retiree approached them again as they drummed their way down the street.

“Look,” he said, “I haven’t received my Social Security check yet, so I’m not going to be able to give you more than 25 cents. Will that be okay?”

“A lousy quarter?” the drum leader exclaimed. “If you think we’re going to waste our time, beating these cans around for a quarter, you’re nuts! No way, mister. We quit!”

An older lady was somewhat lonely

May 13, 2010 By: JeWeL Category: Old Age Jokes

An older lady was somewhat lonely, and decided that she needed a pet to keep her company. So off to the pet shop she went. Forlornly, she searched. Nothing seemed to catch her interest, except this one ugly frog.

As she walked by the barrel he was in, he looked up and winked at her! He whispered, “I’m lonely too, buy me and you won’t be sorry.”

The old Lady figured, what the heck, as she hadn’t found anything else. So, she bought the frog and went to her car. Driving down the road the frog whispered to her, “Kiss me, you won’t be sorry.” So, the old lady figured what the heck, and kissed the frog.

Immediately the frog turned into an absolutely gorgeous, sexy, handsome, young prince. Then the prince kissed her back, and you know what the old lady turned into?

The first motel she could find. (She’s old, not dead!)

I PRAY FOR A NEW VCR…”

His older brother leaned over and nudged the younger brother and said, “Why are you shouting your prayers? God isn’t deaf.” To which the little brother replied, “No, but Grandma is!”

After booking my 80-year-old grandmother on a flight

May 13, 2010 By: JeWeL Category: Old Age Jokes

After booking my 80-year-old grandmother on a flight from Florida to Nevada, I called the airline to go over her special needs. The representative listened patiently as I requested a wheelchair and an attendant for my mother because of her arthritis and impaired vision to the point of near blindness

My apprehension lightened a bit when the woman assured me that everything would be taken care of. I thanked her profusely.

“Oh, you’re welcome,” she replied. I was about to hang up when she cheerfully asked, …”And will your grandmother need a rental car?”

Sex Therapist

May 13, 2010 By: JeWeL Category: Old Age Jokes

A couple, both 67, went to a sex therapist’s office. The doctor asked, “What can I do for you?” The man said, “Will you watch us have sexual intercourse?” The doctor looked puzzled, but agreed. The doctor examined them and then directed them to disrobe and go at it. When the couple finished, the doctor reexamined them and, upon completion, advised the couple, “There’s nothing wrong with the way you have intercourse.” He then charged them $32. This happened several weeks in a row. The couple would make an appointment, have intercourse with no apparent problems other than the lack of vigor which is to be expected in 67 year-olds, get dressed, pay the doctor, and then leave. Finally after almost two months of this routine, the doctor asked, “Just exactly what are you trying to find out?” The old man said, “Oh, we’re not trying to find out anything. She’s married and we can’t go to her house. I’m married, so we can’t go to my house. The Holiday Inn charges $60. The Hilton charges $78. We do it here for $32 and I get $28 back from Medicaid.
